As Lancaster celebrates all things Italian with its first Festa Italia, join us at Lancaster Castle for a concert of fabulous Opera
In the beautiful Shire Hall, North West opera singers present a programme of unforgettable melodies all from operas written in Italian.
Expect love and hate, joy and despair in well-loved arias, duets and ensembles from Puccini’s Madame Butterfly, Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, Verdi’s La Traviata, Mozart’s Così Fan Tutte and more.
Ideal for keen opera lovers or uncertain opera novices, each item will be introduced and set in context so no prior knowledge (or fluent Italian!) is necessary.
Tickets: £7.50 Adults, £6 Concessions.
To book call 01524 64998 or visit the on-site shop and ticket office.
Tickets on sale from Monday 6 August 2018.
