Booking Fee for Castle events

From November 2006 a fee of 50p will be introduced for all credit card bookings made by phone. This applies only to our musical and theatrical events. Tour bookings remain unaffected.
Pre-booking for all our events is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment

Heritage Open Days 2008

The castle is pleased to take part once again in this national initiative, which aims to allow people access to places they usually cannot see or for which they would normally be charged entrance

Special Archiving event

As part of Lancaster's 'Look Behind the Scenes' weekend we are offering anyone who thinks they may be descended from a Lancaster convict to come and see if we have any information on them in our records.
Any new information would also be most welcome
This will be srtictly on a 'first come, first served' basis

Cold Light Singing

Dark History Tours

Tours of both Lancaster Castle and the Judges Lodging by candlelight and in the company of a costumed guide, who will delve a little deeper into the darker side of the history of Lancaster's two most historic buildings
